OOFEM is an open source multi-physics parallel finite element code with object oriented architecture. The aim of this project is to provide efficient and robust tool for FEM computations as well as to offer highly modular and extensible environment for development.

EPSol is a Free, Open Source, Cross Platform and Parallel Finite Element solver. It is focused on plasticity in solid elements (2D and 3D). If fully written in C++ and uses the power of PETSC, together with METIS and ParMETIS, and a Graphical User Interface which uses both VTK and Qt libraries.
It is based on OOFEM and deal.II.
