sdsu-asklib/analyses/latest shows no code

C.W.,

Enlistment failed 16 days ago. Needed to re-fetch the repository to pick up the new address for the repo.

Still need to determine why we aren't recognizing the code as Fortran. Will need to escalate this to a more senior member of the staff.

Thanks!

Fortran (Fixed-format)
Fortran (Free-format)
are listed as LANGUAGES ohloh. How is the language determined for each file? The Fortran file in this project have line numbers in col.1 for formats statements or code, comments with '*' in col.1, continuation mark in col.6.
Also, these files are from a VMS system and the file names have :# at the end to simulate the version numbers in VMS file, ASKSTR.FOR;201 -> askstr.for;201.

C.W.,

That summarizes well the observations I entered into the bug on your behalf. Thanks for the clarifications. Hopefully a staffer/programmer will be in touch soon.

Thanks!

Ohloh uses an open source tool to detect and count lines of code.

https://github.com/blackducksw/ohcount

When I run this tool against the code in the repository it's not detecting the files as fortran.

Being open source if you'd like to fork ohcount and enhance it to find the flavor of fortran in sdsu-asklib, we can then incorporate those changes into Ohloh.

I've opened a ticket on our side to look into fixing this at some point in the future.
