This is indeed a known issue and we are trying to address it. It's a challenge with at least two differing problems compounding to cause the sluggishness everybody is enduring.
I can see a turn-around but still it requires some manual intervention. On the job...

Wireshark is now up-to-date. Added 448 commits. Last commit was August 18, 2014 - about 6 hours ago.

I'll give it a push. We've been experiencing periods of semi-normal processing with periods of molasses swimming lately. (Back stroke! Back stroke!) Trying to thin out the molasses to be more like cola.

Wireshark is now up-to-date. Added 167 commits. Analysis is now at August 26, 2014 on code collected on August 26, 2014 and last commit is at August 26, 2014 - about 23 hours ago.
