Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : It would be nice to have some sort of...

It would be nice to have some sort of project award system going! Allow me to explain my idea. It would be a system where projects can get awards for example for: their innovation their ... [More] co-operation (good team work? hard to determine though) their usability (easy to use/not) what they have done for the open-source community Etcetera perhaps, these awards would need better names, but you get the idea. You could give awards in a few ways: Allow users to vote Have 'staff' give awards, basing awards on their personal opinions Have 'staff' give awards, basing upon facts or whatever anyone can think of Of course, such awards would look like some sort of badge or shield and would be placed on the project's information page. Is this a reasonable idea? Tell me what you think! [Less]

Technical Issue Help : Project code metrics failure

86,000 lines in a XML file? No way, we don't have, and as far as I know never had such a large XML file. I don't know what is causing this problem, but I'm checking svn head myself now. If you can't ... [More] find that it's deleted, it must be still there. That commit you linked was before the complete refactoring. /openfrag/common/brokenalliancemedia/plugins/BrokenAlliance/orcarcher-Armature.skeleton.xml is the file, and that file was removed after the refactoring earlier. This file, or actually the whole folder (brokenalliance_media) was deleted from the repository not too long ago. This is odd Thanks for the effort, will try to look up the problem. [Less]

Feedback Forum : 'Only a single active developer'

Hello, I'm just reporting, it's not like I'm waiting for it to show up as I know what it says, but the page when you click on 'Only a single active developer' is not there. It gives me a not found ... [More] error. Just felt like reporting though it isn't such a bit deal. In the past I can remember that it said somewhat like that 20% of ohloh's enlisted projects are solo attempts. Levia [Less]

Feedback Forum : 5 year commit count graph

Hey I really like the graph that shows for each contributor how active they have been. However, its on a very large scale - 5 years. Can you base that on how long the project exists? If you go to the ... [More] Code tab, you'll find: 'The source code repositories show that the project is x months old.' Where x is a number of course. Why not use that number to base the graph on. Lets say my project is about 11 months old, then each contributor would have the graph reach to lets say 1 year. And once it becomes 12 months old, the graph changes to 1 year and a month. That would make it a bit clearer I think, however, I do like how it is now. Thanks [Less]
