I have installed Aegir 2.0-RC4 on Arch Linux recently following the instructions for manual installation. I have successfully run Aegir 1.x on Ubuntu for several years and recently decided it is time for a new server. I have followed the instructions ... [More] to the letter as far as I can tell but I am having some trouble. I have copied my php.ini file to /var/aegir/.drush/ as is specifically required on Arch Linux. Running the 'drush status' command shows that /var/aegir/.drush/php.ini is in fact the PHP configuration used by drush.read more [Less]

[More] the Aegir game then me and I'd like to know what can be done? is Aegir simply multisite? can any of these issues being FUDded about be sensibly addressed? [Less]

I guess this would be a request for support from someone who knows how Amazon EC2 works. 1/ I created an instance of Ubuntu 13.04 on EC2. Assigned elastic IP. 2/ Followed the Aegir manual for automatic installation (and double checked the section ... [More] about FQDN setup) 3/ I changed my hostname and /etc/hosts in such a way that resolveip uname -n and resolveip hostname -f points to the same IP (the elastic ip - which is accessible from the outside). 4/ I installed Aegir2 (RC4).read more [Less]

I had quite a struggle doing the last 2 upgrades. This is the manual upgrade. The first error that showed was unable to download common.inc-6.28.patch (not exact wording) Things proceeded after that but eventually failed. I could download the patch manually so I don't know why Drush couldn't.read more

An error in the manual portion of out release process resulted in the incorrect version of the code-base being built. See the release notes for 2.0-rc3 for relevant changes since 2.0-rc2.

First AWESOME! 2.0rc3 is so much faster than 1.10. I create a site Add an alias I goto the url and type in the alias and on Firefox I get the message that the connection timed out. if I goto the url and type in the main address, not an alias, the site comes up just fine.
