Feedback Forum : Incorrect project history

I don't think so. The other branch only exists in the past, and our tool wasn't built to support that. I'm afraid there's not much you can do until we fix our importer. This is the biggest, loudest feature request on our wall right now.

Technical Issue Help : Fedora enlistment failures

Hi braden, Yes, we've manually stopped some of the big jobs that people have submitted. A couple of other operating systems are in the same boat right now. After some recent code changes, we are ... [More] slowly making progress against our backlog of downloads. Also, in the endless race against our growing popularity, we've ordered more hardware to increase the size of our server farm. I can't give you a firm date, but I estimate it will be at least a week or two until we start slipping some of these big jobs back into the queue, and a job the size of a distro will probably take at least a week to run once it starts. Git repositories are the exception -- the git-clone design lets us pull the history very quickly. Any interest in switching to git? :-) [Less]

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : It would totally be awesome if

It would totally be awesome if projects could be given an icon as well. This would give the project pages a little more identity.

Technical Issue Help : SVN Update

Hi Julian, Yes, there are plans to fix this Subversion import problem, but it could be a while before we have time to do it. At this point there's not much you can do on your end; it's strictly a ... [More] limitation on our end. In terms of being behind on updates, that's mostly a systems administration issue [which I am sinking endless time into lately], and unless you can drop ship me a half dozen new servers I think we're on our own here. But we are thinking seriously about ways to get help from the community in terms of Ohloh features, specifically supporting more languages and more source control systems. Again, this is something that will take us some time to get organized, but stay posted. Thanks, Robin [Less]

Suggestions for Ohloh 2.0 : Having multiple, named/tagged

Having multiple, named/tagged stacks would be very nice. I use different tools for different things, and having them split out seems like an interesting bit of metadata to preserve.

Technical Issue Help : Failed svn import for CPAN

Hi rafl, I've rescheduled the download. I don't see any particular problem here -- sometimes we just get disconnected from the server and have to try again. It should run today.
